Job Vacancy: Administrative Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the daily operations of the school. The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a busy school environment and demonstrate leadership in coordinating administrative activities. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the school management to ensure effective communication, proper record keeping, and efficient handling of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school leadership and staff.
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring an organized and efficient working environment.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for students, staff, and school documentation.
- Prepare and manage correspondence including letters, emails, reports, and memos.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls, emails, and visitors.
- Support in the planning and organization of school events and activities.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement when necessary.
- Supervise and provide guidance to support staff, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Liaise with parents, guardians, and stakeholders as directed by school management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the school’s mission and operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and general computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and coordinate daily office operations.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
- Must reside in Likuni or nearby areas for easy commute to school.
