With a processing capacity of up to 240 tonnes per month, we transform plastic waste—primarily HDPE and PP—into high-quality recycled pellets, creating sustainable alternatives to virgin plastic. We work with waste collectors, manufacturers, and environmental organizations to build a cleaner future and generate economic opportunities for local communities.

Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Blantyre, Malawi

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

We’re urgently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about finance, sustainability, and making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
• Assist in preparing financial documents and reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports)
• Handle invoicing, billing, and follow-ups on outstanding payments
• Perform account reconciliations and assist in audit preparations
• Monitor expenditures and support budgeting processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and reporting accuracy

Qualifications

• Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting role preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in the recycling or manufacturing sector is an added advantage
• Immediate availability is required
