Tingathe is a non-governmental organization that partners with peri-urban communities to build wealth that sticks. We work with young people, community leaders, women in small businesses, and school-going children to empower them with various skills that can enable them to thrive in their communities.

Duties:

As a Part-Time Volunteer Facilitator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate sessions for the Children’s Life Skills Programme.
  • Implement engaging activities to enhance children’s life skills development.
  • Provide guidance and support to children participating in the programme.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive environment for learning.
    Collaborate with team members to assess and improve the programme’s effectiveness.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A Certificate in Early Child Development, Diploma in Community Development, or any related qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children and facilitating children’s programmes.
  • Strong facilitation skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Knowledge about child protection issues, gender-based violence, and sexual reproductive health and rights.
  • Must be below the age of 35 and residing in Lilongwe, preferably in areas near Mtandire.
  • Proficiency in English and Chichewa languages.
  • Experience and skills in drama and arts and crafts are advantageous.
