 Job Title: Operation Director

 

Job Specification: 

As the Operations Director at Sparkle Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the organisation’s day-to-day operations. We are seeking a dedicated individual who embodies our core values of authenticity, purposefulness, vibrancy, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will bring experience in organisational management, strategic planning, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of Malawians.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Lead, manage, and optimise all aspects of Sparkle Foundation’s daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Senior Management team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organisation’s mission and vision.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting our values of authenticity, purposefulness, vibrancy, and teamwork.
  • Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to ensure the organisation’s sustainability and growth.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and donors to enhance Sparkle Foundation’s impact and reach.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the organisation operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and uphold high standards of governance.

 

Qualifications  

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact and community development.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of the local context in Malawi
