Royal Heritage Academy is a private Christian school offering kindergarten and primary education. with a mission to train the whole child, academically, physically, socially and spiritually. We are located.

I. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under the guidance of the Board of Directors, the School Principal oversees all operations of the school. S/he creates a safe and healthy learning environment and sets performance goals for students and staff, and oversees the process so that those goals are attained.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Administers the school’s education programs.

  • Administers all curriculum and extracurricular activities, including supervising the planning, delivery and evaluation of all the school’s programs.
  • Directs, administers and supervises the school’s special education program.

2. Human Resource Management.

  • Establishing staff requirements and overseeing recruitment (employment) of staff:
  • performance monitoring and review, training needs assessment, training and career development of staff;
  • Fostering an environment of cordial staff relations and well-being, and resolving staff disciplinary issues.

3. Finance and Administration

  • Responsible for good governance and ensuring maximum compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations:
  • Contributes to and oversees implementation of the budget.
  • Manages the school’s facilities to ensure they are in a good, safe and healthy state of operation.

4. Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Degree Information: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education or Business Administration. Master’s degree in Education Leadership or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
Required Work Experience in Addition to Formal Education/Training: At least three years of full-time or equivalent teaching experience.

Skilled in: Leadership: Information collection: Problem analysis, Judgment; Organizational oversight; facilitating coordination and collaboration of tasks; Delegation of authority: Ability to accommodate cognition and achievement differences; Written and oral communication.

Personal Attributes: Demonstrates a sound understanding of Christian values and doctrine.
