Synthesis Agriculture Company Limited is a private company that specializes in Agri-marketing, research and training, seed multiplication, unlimited extension services, implementation of innovative irrigation, water supply and engineering works, agri-business, and financing.
The company was established to promote the agriculture sector, creating jobs for the youth, and inspiring farmers and the retired through production, marketing, and value addition.

Synthesis agriculture is therefore looking for dedicated professional Christians to be considered on as soon as possible base.

Key Responsibilities

I. Promote Synthesis Agriculture’s product portfolio, including irrigation and water engineering solutions, the Ulimi Retirement Plan, farm management consultancy services, capital financing, and Ulimi training consultancy services.
II. Liaise with agro-dealers in various districts to act as focal points for product demonstrations for potential clients.
III. Conduct office-to-office visits within the designated territory to directly sell our products and services.
IV. Act as a focal point for district sales campaigns, coordinating with the district sales manager to implement targeted sales strategies and initiatives.
V. Install and provide technical support to customers in various districts, ensuring the proper functioning of our products and troubleshooting as needed.
VI. Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on the benefits and applications of our products and services.
VII. Work closely with the country sales manager to identify and pursue sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
VIII. Write detailed weekly reports outlining sales activities, customer interactions, and recommendations for improvement.
IX. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and optimize sales processes.
X. Develop and execute strategies to achieve given quarterly sales targets set by the company.
XI. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions and sales strategies.
XII. Maintain accurate records of sales leads, customer service issues, and general account status using CRM software or other tools.
XIII. Provide training and support to customers on irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance.
XIV. Continuously strive to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills to enhance overall performance and contribute to the company’s success.

Academic Requirements and Competencies

I. Holder of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
II. Previous experience in sales or customer service roles preferred.
III. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
IV. Basic understanding of agricultural products and services, including irrigation systems, farm management, and capital financing will have added advantage.
V. Goal-oriented mindset with a desire to achieve sales targets.
VI. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
VII. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
VIII. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory will be added advantages.
