POSITION: PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Job Description

Are you passionate about negotiating the best deals, optimizing costs, and ensuring efficient procurement processes? We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our Amaryllis team. As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing our company’s purchasing activities to ensure we obtain the highest quality goods and services at the most competitive prices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality products, and favorable terms.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maximizing value for the company.
  • Budget Management: Work closely with finance and other relevant departments to develop and manage procurement budgets. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service.
  • Purchase Orders: Process purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill procurement needs and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field – Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • 2 Years Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management roles in a busy organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent Communications Skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Computer skills.
