A reputable organization with its Headquarters in Lilongwe is seeking the services of Processing and Quality Assurance Officer (Seasonal) existing at our Head Office in Lilongwe.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure good quality of processed tobacco
- Understanding and conforming to Customer requirements / Specifications
- Set standards for production
- Set performance standards for processing team
- Ensure that production processes are optimized with respect to quality, throughput, and customer specifications
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure that packing and packaging materials are in accordance with Customer specifications
- Make regular quality inspections
- Conduct SPP checks and decide a way forward on any deviations.
- Cost Control
Qualifications, Competencies and Attributes
Applicants must have the following;
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Chemistry
- Computer Literate
- 30 to 45 years of age
- Willing to work during odd hours
- Good leadership and problem-solving skills
- 5-10 years experience
