DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitoring and coordinating loan recovery activities and to follow-up on all loans that are
currently in a recovery status by maintaining and prepare daily, weekly and monthly
recovered loans reports.
2. Maintain a consistent reduction of non-performing loans through aggressive recoveries and
viable restructuring options.
3. Undertake regular and frequent calls, site visits, and follow-ups with members to implement
remedial strategies and action plans for loan recovery.
4. Any other task or duty which is assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Specification
- Minimum of Diploma in finance and banking, accounting or any relevant field.
- Basic understanding of the Sacco operations
- Good problem solving, negotiation, interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Patience and understanding of emotions to deal with members.
- Ability to use and communicate in both Chichewa, Chitumbuka and English.
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizing, recording and filing skills.
- Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
