Limbe Leaf Tobacco Company Limited, one of the leading tobacco processors in Malawi has the above-mentioned vacant positions in its Agronomy Department. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified Malawians to fill these vacant positions which are tenable in our field operational areas.
Job Objectives
Working under the Area Coordinator, the incumbent will assist in:
- Supervising farmer registration.
- Implementation of Good Agriculture Practices and Agricultural Labour Practice.
- Monitoring and assisting growers from nursery up to marketing of Tobacco.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution.
- Must have a valid motorcycle license.
- At least 2 years’ experience in tobacco production.
- Good planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.
- Computer literate.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Capacity to work with minimum supervision.
- Willing to work in rural areas.
- Sober habits.
- Age between 25 to 40 years
