Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Accountant located in Lilongwe. The Certified Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting financial information while adhering to regulatory guidelines, analyzing and interpreting financial data, preparing financial statements and reports, preparing budgets, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and participating in audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance
- CPA or CA certification
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, finance principles, and financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in sage pastel, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
