About Us
We are a dynamic company at the forefront of financial inclusion, utilizing innovative solutions like SaaS (Software as a Service), HaaS (Hardware as a Service), and mobile channels to empower our clients. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Accountant to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
– Reconciliation of mobile channel accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
– Preparation of monthly management accounts
– Managing tax affairs, adhering to all relevant regulations and filing deadlines.
– Performing debtor and creditor reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records.
– Assist with administrative tasks related to accounting functions.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in a technology company.
– Proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes.
– Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
– Proficiency in accounting software with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Experience with tax filing procedures a plus.
– Understanding of SaaS( Software as a service), HaaS ( Hardware as a service), and mobile channel financial considerations will be an added advantage
– Some experience or knowledge of marketing principles desirable.
