Local Government Service Commission is inviting Applications from suitably qualified individuals to
fill the following vacant positions tenable at Ntcheu District Council.
Job Title: Senior Assistant Environmental Health Officer
Grade: M7
Location: Ntcheu District council
Qualification
Applicants must be serving Assistant Environmental Health Officer (Grade M8) with at least four (4)
years’ experience at that grade in local authorities.
Experience
Must have undergone the eighteen (18) months internship programme.
Competencies
Duties
I. Plans, implements and monitors Health Education activities
II. Coordinates and monitors all environmental health matters
III. Promotes health and safety issues
IV. Organizes interventions on Health-related issues
V. Collaborates with relevant authorities and ensures participation and involvement in health
information.
Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19)
