We are looking to employ experienced Tyre Fitters to join our dynamic team under the workshop.
Purpose
As a Tyre Fitter at Castel Malawi, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintenance, fitting, and repair works to all vehicle tyres to enable the company to provide safe, and reliable fleet of vehicles to the entire operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all actions as per the tyre survey checklist.
- Replace tyre as needed.
- Carry out tyre fitting and puncture mending.
- Attend to breakdowns involving tyre faults.
- Take safety precuationary measures at all work sites both at the workshop, as well as outside during recovery missions.
- Carry out any other lawful duties that may have been assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Education & Experience
- Malawi School Certificate of Education
- Preferably 5 years of experience as a Tyre Fitter for heavy machines and vehicles such as MAN, IVECO and TCM Forklifts.
