This is a full-time on-site role for a Travel Consultant located in Lilongwe, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, creating and maintaining reservations, and providing expert advice on travel options. Daily tasks will include managing customer inquiries, researching and booking travel arrangements, and resolving customer complaints.
- Strong knowledge and experience in travel consulting, travel management, and travel arrangements.
- Excellent customer service skills including ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints and provide expert travel advice.
- Ability to create and maintain accurate reservations, and manage multiple schedules and itineraries.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Familiarity with global travel and tourism regulations, as well as experience with travel booking systems.
- Customer-oriented mindset, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Travel or Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
