Role Description

Solimar is pursuing a new project opportunity in Malawi focused on Ecotourism and in search of a Team Leader and a Tourism Product Development and Marketing Expert. These full-time on-site positions will be responsible for overall project coordination and quality assurance of the project and overseeing the product development and marketing activities. The role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to drive tourism initiatives and promote sustainable tourism development.

Qualifications Team Leader

• Master’s degree in a relevant, directly related discipline;
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as Team Leader.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in providing technical assistance for public authorities or agencies in developing countries on tourism development policy, planning, management, preferably with a focus on ecotourism.

Qualifications Tourism Product Development and Marketing Expert

• Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience working in the tourism sector, preferably ecotourism,
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working on tourism marketing and promotion projects, preferably ecotourism,
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working on development of ecotourism or sustainable tourism products and tourism services.
