Blantyre District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians between the ages of 18-40 to fill the vacancy of Temporary Enumerators under the Unified Beneficiary Registry Program
Job Title: Temporary Enumerator
Location: All Traditional authorities
QUALIFICATIONS
1) Applicants must have a minimum of a Diploma in Social Science, Community Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Statistics, Information Technology and Economics from a recognized institutions
2 Must have a National ID whose QR code can be scanned
3 Proven experience in data collection using tablets/smartphones
4 Availability during entire period of data collection
5 Ability to work in rural setting
6 Familiarity with ODK application
7 Hardworking, honest, high integrity and respect
8 Ability to adapt quickly to new environment
9 Good communication skills
10. A strong and positive personality
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conducting household interviews in rural settings using Android tablets or smartphone.
2. Collecting GPS coordinates at every household.
3. Conducting extensive and thorough visual surveys.
4. Writing the UBR/house code on the door or wall of every interviewed household.
