Malawi Electoral Commission
The Malawi Electoral Commission, “the Commission”, is a body corporate created under Section 75(1) of the Constitution, to supervise, direct and preside over the conduct of all elections in Malawi.
In accordance with Section 13 of the Malawi Electoral Commission Act, the Commission seeks to appoint a suitably qualified person with relevant experience to fill the following vacant position within its secretariat.
A. TEMPORARY POSTS
Job Title: Temporary Data Quality Control Clerks
Number Required : 40
Responsible to: Director of ICT
Purpose: Enhancement of quality on electoral process and responsible for document management
Location: MEC Head Office
Key duties & responsibilities
- Carrying out data analysis and quality control checks
- Collect and compile statistical data quality
- Filing and securing information
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Malawi School Certificate of Education
- At least a Diploma in Information Communication and Technology
- Malawian Citizen with National ID
Core Competence
- Excellent computer skills.
- Mature, creative, and able to work with minimum supervision
- Those with data quality control experience will have an added advantage
- Applicants must be able to discharge their duties in a non-partisan manner
- Must demonstrate impartiality at all times
