The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified external candidates to fill various vacant positions in the Administration Division

Position                       :          Technical Services Manager

Reporting to               :         Director of Administration

Organization Unit         :       Administration Division

Duty Station                :        Head Office

Grade                           :        C2

Specific duties

  • Liaising with suppliers/contractors on routine and fault maintenance of equipment, lifts, generators, cooling systems and cargo/baggage scanners;
  • Servicing faulty equipment and recommending for replacement of outdated equipment;
  • Inspecting equipment and developing preventive maintenance schedules;
  • enforcing technical services safety, performance regulations and conforming to contract terms;
  • Conducting quality control measures;
  • Managing service level agreements with business units;
  • Managing performance of the team members;
  • Timely and accurately preparing technical reports.

Qualifications and experience

  • The candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized and accredited University
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
