LifeCo Pension Services Company Limited is a leading provider of pension administration services in Malawi. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as Team Leader – Pension Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and data management.
- Ensure compliance with Pension Act 2023 and other relevant legislation.
- Provide accurate and timely data to management, Pension fund members, actuaries, and the regulator.
- Monitor revenue to achieve set milestones.
- Lead and mentor clerical staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct staff appraisals and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Address workplace discipline issues fairly and promptly.
- Support implementation of risk management practices across operations.
- Prepare accurate financial and operational reports for management.
- Ensure expenditures are within the approved budget.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a pension or life insurance company.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Accounting/Finance, or Actuarial Science.
- ACII Diploma or Certificate in Financial Services or equivalent is an added advantage.
Key Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with pension administration systems and data management practices.
