Pension Services Company

LifeCo Pension Services Company Limited is a leading provider of pension administration services in Malawi. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as Team Leader – Pension Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and data management.
  • Ensure compliance with Pension Act 2023 and other relevant legislation.
  • Provide accurate and timely data to management, Pension fund members, actuaries, and the regulator.
  • Monitor revenue to achieve set milestones.
  • Lead and mentor clerical staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct staff appraisals and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Address workplace discipline issues fairly and promptly.
  • Support implementation of risk management practices across operations.
  • Prepare accurate financial and operational reports for management.
  • Ensure expenditures are within the approved budget.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a pension or life insurance company.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Accounting/Finance, or Actuarial Science.
  • ACII Diploma or Certificate in Financial Services or equivalent is an added advantage.

Key Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with pension administration systems and data management practices.
