Team Leader

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales and Recruitment of clients, business development and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages of the regional District sales agents.
• Achieves sales targets in accordance with budgets.
• Increases market share in the public sector guided by portfolio targets set out in the budgets for the year.
• Assists in the development of marketing strategies for the financial year and implement as appropriate within the region.
• Recruits appropriately qualified sales agents in accordance with the manpower requirements as dened from time to time.
• Provides training and oversight for all new recruits to ensure that they achieve the required level of competence as quickly as possible.
• Provides daily monitoring of all activity and conversion measurements, identifying negative variances and actioning same accordingly.
• Maintains detailed records of all activation and conversion data as well as of all interventions on underperforming agents.
• Interacts and maintains key client relationships with employers and third parties.
• Ensures that service levels in branches and Agencies meet the required standards.
• Handles customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in commerce or equivalent qualification
• Experience in Microfinance and managing sales teams.
