Success Private Secondary School located at HOME-BOUND – AREA 1B – Luwinga in Mzuzu City wishes to recruit highly motivated and experienced individuals to be part of the vibrant academic or teaching staff.
TEACHER (ENGLISH & GEOGRAPHY)
REPORTING TO: HEAD TEACHER & SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of Diploma in Education obtained from a highly reputable institution of higher learning. (Those with non-education qualifications are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for this post).
- Must be competent to teach a combination of ENGLISH (both Language & Literature) &
GEOGRAPHY both at JCE & MSCE levels.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
- Must be a mature and committed person with high level of integrity.
- Must be aged at least 27 years or above for males and 24 years or above for females.
- Must have team working spirit
- Must be a hard worker, willing to work even during odd hours.
- Must have at least 1 year or more teaching experience in Secondary School.
- Must be ready to abide by the institution’s requirements, targets, and ethics.
DUTIES
- Teaching Students.
- Preparing Schemes of work and records.
- Assisting the Head teacher in administering students’ affairs.
- Disciplining students.
- Among other duties assigned by the Management or Head teacher from time to time.
NOTE: – Applicants must be living in Mzuzu or surrounding areas and be ready for interviews & start work if successful at a short notice.
