Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor

 

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Department: Operations

Location: Lilongwe

 

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Supervisor will ensure the efficient management of supply chain processes, including production, quality control, and supplier coordination. This role will oversee quality assurance protocols to ensure all products and processes meet internal and external standards and requirements, while driving supply chain output to meet company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Supply Chain Management:

– Coordinate procurement of raw materials and components.

– Ensure expected output levels of company products to meet production targets and customer demands.

– Monitor and manage supplier performance.

– Ensure timely delivery of goods.

– Collaborate with inventory, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain strategy with business goals.

– Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

 

Quality Assurance:

– Implement and monitor quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.

– Conduct inspections of incoming materials and finished products.

– Investigate quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

– Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.

– Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

– Maintain records and documentation required for regulatory compliance and tracking.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

– Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

– Strong analytical, problem

-solving, and organizational skills.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

– High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
