Foodlovers Kanengo is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Supervisor to oversee key
operational areas within our bustling establishment.
This exciting role requires a hands-on leader to manage and optimize our Deli, Production area,
and our busy Takeaway and Sit-in Restaurant. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Directly supervise the daily operations of the Deli, Production Kitchen, Takeaway, and Sit-in Restaurant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff across all supervised departments, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and customer service are consistently met.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, manage orders, minimize waste, and ensure proper handling and storage of all products.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and strive to exceed customer expectations in both the supermarket deli and restaurant.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all food safety regulations, health & safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth workflow.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on departmental performance, sales, and operational metrics to management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Experience: A minimum of [e.g., 3-5 years] of progressive supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, catering, or similar busy food service environment is essential. Experience with deli operations or food production is a significant advantage.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively.
- Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, inventory control, and customer service best practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service and a positive customer experience.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the business.
