Ethanol Company Limited (EthCo)
Ethanol Company Limited (EthCo) is a molasses based ethanol production firm located in Dwangwa, a town in the Nkhotakota Lakeshore District of Malawi. Commissioned in 1982, the Company has produced over 380 million litres of ethanol at both 99.5%v/v and 96%v/v ethanol strength. EthCo is the pioneer of ethanol production in Malawi.
An Opportunity has arisen in the Company in the Finance Department for the position of:-
STORES CLERK
Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the successful candidate shall among other things, be responsible for receiving and issuing stocks, daily checking of raw materials and finished products (ethanol) using a tank dipping method and reconciling stock balances and assist in stock take exercise.
The ideal candidate must have the following basic qualifications and attributes:-
Malawi School Certificate of Education or its equivalent;
Diploma in Stores Management or Accounting
Diploma and advanced Diploma in CIPS are an added advantage
Must be prepared to work odd hours;
Must be able to work above normal heights;
Must demonstrate good communication and numerical skills;
Must have strong work ethics, be reliable, adaptable and a team player;
Must be of sober habits.
