Hosanna Radio Station
Station Manager
The Station Manager is responsible for the overall health of the radio station and help his team achieve the highest standards of content production through creative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing daily business operations, developing and implementing growth strategies, training low-level managers and staff, creating and managing budgets, evaluating performance and productivity, design strategy and set goals for growth, control budgets and optimize expenses; and ensure employees are motivated and productive.
Qualifications and Experience
Mature with at least a BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA will be an added advantage; proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role, experience in planning and budgeting, knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.), strong analytical and communication skills, outstanding organizational and leadership skills; and
problem-solving aptitude.
Key Competences
Strong interpersonal skills and strength of character, excellent editorial judgement and detailed knowledge of the Broadcasting Code, Editorial Guidelines, among others; ability to be resilient and remain calm under pressure, strong confident and inspirational communicator; and excellent forward planning and organizing skills
