SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR INTERN -1 POSITION

LOCATION: Kasungu

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an International, humanitarian and development organization with its headquarters in Seoul, Republic of Korea. GNI is a non-profit,non-governmental organization in general consultative status with United Nation Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). GNI (Malawi branch) implements community development programs on child health, education, water and sanitation plus income generation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination and support to ensure Child Monitoring Standards are met.
  • Responsible for the coordination of design, development of communication materials, quality assurance and administration.
  • Coordinates information management data quality, data entry, monitoring, tracking, exception reports, follow-up and reports.
  • Manage all required sponsorship lists and documents and maintain up to date web information using data entry.
  • Ensure that updates, photos, and correspondence are completed for each child within a timely manner manage field staff to complete sponsorship tasks.
  • Assist in quarterly reports, annual sponsorship goals, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Competencies

  • Have good experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, photo editing and able to follow detailed processes.
  • Be organized and completing tasks, excellent by paying attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication both English and Chichewa.
  • Strong IT skills & competent in the use of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Good interpersonal skills & cross-cultural sensitivity with ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to be creative & innovative in coordinating the sponsorship programs within the CDP
  • Strong understanding of community-led development work.
  • Flexibility in working out of the core work hours when required

Educational Background

  • Diploma /Degree in related field
