There is Hope (TIH) is a Malawian NGO that has been offering opportunities for education, business and employment to communities within and around Dzaleka Refugee Camp since 2007. TIH invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Solar Photovoltaic Instructors (2 posts) tenable at its vocational training centre in Dzaleka, Dowa.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teaching according to approved syllabus and methodology
- Assessing, recording and reporting on students’ progress
- Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans;
- Organizing teaching and learning materials for the lessons
- Enforcing student discipline
- Maintaining class register and student progress records
- Maintaining available equipment in the section
- Attending to delegated responsibilities
- Enforcing classroom and workshop rules and regulations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
Tevet Level 3 Certificate in Solar Photovoltaic or Diploma in Renewable Energy or Advanced Craft in Electrical Installation and Electronics
3 years relevant experience
