We’re now working on an exciting new web-based project and are looking for a Software Development Intern to support us in bringing it to life.

Role Description

As a Software Development Intern, you will contribute to the development of a modern Progressive Web Application (PWA) with interactive, map-based features. The project will involve Google Maps integration, responsive web design, and building a reliable and installable user experience that works seamlessly across platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Building responsive, modern user interfaces for web applications

· Integrating with Google Maps API for geolocation and mapping features

· Developing app as an installable PWA, accessible across devices

· Collaborating on backend integration and data flow

· Participating in design discussions, testing, and feedback sessions

· Writing clean, maintainable code with documentation

Skills and Competence – Minimum

· Have at least a Diploma in Computing or any related field

· Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)

· Familiarity with Google Maps API or willingness to learn quickly

· Interest in building PWAs and understanding of service workers/offline caching

· Basic understanding of web development concepts (REST APIs, JSON, etc.)

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

· Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a collaborative development process

Skills and Competences – Desirable

· Experience with mobile-first design or UI/UX principles

· Proven experience with version control using Git/GitHub

· Backend experience (Node.js, Django, PHP, or similar)
