Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive project success.
- Project control:
- Oversee and Supervise construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the most suitable construction methods.
- Technical Leadership:
- Interpret and provide direction on construction drawings and specifications.
- Resolve technical issues with the project team, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the design, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Contract Management:
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contracts are executed in line with project requirements.
- Monitor and manage subcontractor performance in terms of quality, cost, and schedule.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular project reports, updating stakeholders on the project’s progress.
- Maintain a comprehensive set of project records, including changes, issues, and resolutions.
- Quality Control & Assurance:
- Implement quality control programs, conducting regular inspections to ensure that all work and materials meet the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and ensure that all tests and inspections are performed as required.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure that all site activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness within the project team and among all subcontractors.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication across all levels of the project.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work and stay in remote areas
- A valid driving license is an advantage.
