Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project control:
   • Oversee and Supervise construction projects from conception to completion.
   • Review project plans and specifications to determine the most suitable construction methods.

 

1. Technical Leadership:
   • Interpret and provide direction on construction drawings and specifications.
   • Resolve technical issues with the project team, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the design, quality standards, and project specifications.

 

1. Contract Management:
   • Engage with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contracts are executed in line with project requirements.
   • Monitor and manage subcontractor performance in terms of quality, cost, and schedule.
2. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Prepare and submit regular project reports, updating stakeholders on the project’s progress.
   • Maintain a comprehensive set of project records, including changes, issues, and resolutions.

 

1. Quality Control & Assurance:
   • Implement quality control programs, conducting regular inspections to ensure that all work and materials meet the highest quality standards.
   • Coordinate with third-party inspectors and ensure that all tests and inspections are performed as required.

 

1. Safety & Compliance:
   • Ensure that all site activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations.
   • Promote a culture of safety awareness within the project team and among all subcontractors.

 

1. Stakeholder Coordination:
   • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
   • Attend and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication across all levels of the project.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work and stay in remote areas
• A valid driving license is an advantage.
