The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Nkhata Bay District Council.
POST: Senior Roads Engineer
Grade: M5
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering obtained from accredited institutions and must be registered with Malawi Institute of Engineers.
Duties
i Designing, construction and maintenance of roads and transport infrastructure
ii Manage and assign resources as needed within the engineering team
iii Ensure that roads are safe, efficient and sustainable for the people who use them.
iv Assist in ensuring quality control standards, systems and procedures are in place for construction projects.
v Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual report.
vi Assist in reviewing engineering designs and drawing prepared by consultants.
vii Any other duties assigned
