VACANCY

Holy Family Mission Hospital (HFMH) is under Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) under the Archdiocese of Blantyre of the Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in Phalombe district. Applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant positions below are being invited:

 

Job Title: Senior Nursing Sister

Reporting to: Nursing Officer

Duties:

1. Provide direct nursing/midwifery care to all patients with health problems and use nursing/midwifery processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing/midwifery care;
2. Build therapeutically relationship with patients, their relatives and fellow health workers;
3. Observe patient’s condition, progress and documents findings and implementations;
4. Evaluate care given to patients and takes appropriate action;
5. Conduct health education to individuals, families and communities;
6. Control and monitor resources;
7. Super vise nurse midwife technicians, subordinates and students.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must be serving registered Nurses/Nurse Midwife Technicians

Experience

A minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade.
