Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawian candidates to fill the following vacant posts existing at Mwanza District Council.
Post: Senior Nursing & Midwifery Technician (2)
Grade: I/M6
Location: Mwanza District Council
Duties
1. Provide direct nursing/midwifery care to all patients with health problems and use nursing/midwifery processes to asses, plan, implement and evaluate nursing/midwifery care,
2. Build therapeutic relationship with patients, their relatives and fellow health workers,
3. Observe patient’s condition, progress and document findings and implementations,
4. Evaluate care given to a patient and takes appropriate action,
5. Conduct health education to individuals, families and communities,
6. Control and monitor resources,
7. Supervise nurse midwife technicians, subordinates and students.
Qualifications
Applicants must be a serving nursing and midwifery technician (Grade HK/M8) with a minimum of four (4) years within Local authorities.
