SENIOR MANAGER – SEGMENTS
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Senior Manager – Segments shall be responsible for the management of customer segments.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Defines all customer segments for TNM based on demographics, psychographic, geographic, behavior, and preferences to create customized products and revenue and customer tracking.
- Develops a comprehensive customer segment strategy aligned with the marketing strategy and customer needs.
- Develops and implements segment tactical plans in support of the overall customer and revenue strategy in liaison with other cross-functional teams.
- Manages Segments retention programs to reduce churn within the organization aligned to the company targets.
- Identifies and defines the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for customers in the various customer segments and overall marketing strategy.
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to create and implement campaigns to grow customers (Usage and Retention Campaigns) and increase usage of Segment customers.
- Collaborates with Product Management teams in developing new products or services specifically designed for segment. Work with product development teams to identify opportunities and oversee the creation of tailored offerings.
- Tracks revenue growth on a regular basis against approved budget.
- Monitors the effectiveness of cross-selling and upselling campaigns to existing customer segments.
- Conducts market research and analysis to understand the dynamics of segments (Youth, Customer & Home, Business, SME Segments, NGO & Government Segment) and competitive landscape to recommend products and initiatives to address customer needs.
Educational and professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Statistics or related qualifications.
- Experience in product and service segmentation at managerial level.
- Knowledge in business Analysis, product management and segmentation, financial management and digital marketing.
- Strategic planning, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical, problem solving, business performance reporting, project management and time management skills.
