FDH Bank Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified, innovative, passionate and experienced candidates to fill the position of Senior Manager, Channels, tenable in its Personal and Business Banking Department based at its Head Office in Blantyre.

Reporting to the Head of Personal and Business Banking, the successful candidate shall be responsible for driving business in all Bank branches by ensuring sales growth, operating efficiency, profitability and quality customer service. This is a highly customer focused position hence requires someone passionate with customer service. Note that banking experience is not a must.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all branches are delivering quality customer service through customer engagement and speedy query resolutions;
  • Ensuring operating channel efficiency, culminating in a profitable branch network and efficient ATM network; Developing an effective sales strategy for the Bank’s branches and ensuring its effective execution in order to increase profitability;
  • Achieving branch compliance and risk management by ensuring that all branches are adhering to the set processes and procedures;
  • Providing clear directions on strategic goals, translating and prioritising them into business and performance measures;
  • Establishing and maintaining a succession plan for the management team in the section using the formal Talent Management process for identified talent; and
  • Ensuring development of a high-performing team through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or any other relevant field obtained from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in sales and customer service, whilst leading large teams of people and offering tactical and strategic direction.
