WHO WE ARE

Nkhamenya Community Hospital is a Catholic Health Facility of Mzuzu Diocese. It operates under the Health Commission of the Diocese whose mandate is to ensure that the services that the Catholic Church provides in the Diocese are accessible to the rural masses and the quality of care being provided is line with the professional standards and in the footsteps of Jesus Christ the founder of the healing ministry.

In its efforts of ensuring provision of quality health services, the hospital would like to recruit the following  positions:

 

SENIOR HOME CRAFT WORKER ( GRADE L)

Applicants for above post should have the following

• Be a practicing Christian.
• Possess M.S.C.E with six credits including English and Biology.
• Someone with a diploma in Nutrition will have an added advantage.
• Posses excellent interpersonal skills.
• Those with relevant experience are required though not a must.

 

DUTIES

• Weigh, recognize sick and underweight children.
• Refer sick and underweight children to clinician / nurse for further management.
• Teach mothers how to prepare, cook and serve healthy foods for children of all ages.
• Participate in under- five and outreach clinics.
• Maintaining records about children benefiting from nutrition services.
• Manage sick and underweight children.
• Ordering and distribution of special foods for underweight children.

 

RENUMERATION

A competitive remuneration package in line with Government of Malawi system will be offered to successful candidates.
