POSITION: SENIOR CAR HIRE OFFICER
Location: Blantyre
SUCCESS Civil and Automobile Engineering is a Malawian Company that operates into two reportable segments, SUCCESS Automobile Car Hire and SUCCESS Civil Engineering. SUCCESS Automobile Car Hire offers services related to Car hire, Driver hire and both Car and Driver hire. SUCCESS is an equal opportunity employer and intends to increase its staffing capacity in the Car hire segment.
The position has dual reporting to the Car Hire Manager and to the Managing Director.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, and the related fields.
- Those with a Degree in the required fields above will have an added advantage.
Skills
- Must have knowledge in computer excel and Microsoft word
- Must have good communication skills (English)
- Must have good interpersonal relationship management
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing annual budgets
- Overseeing the car hire management
- Appraising, motivating and training junior staff
- Plan marketing activities for car hire and ensure that marketing activities are effectively implemented
- Preparing weekly marketing reports
- Reviewing Junior staff work on daily basis
- Supervising, directing and monitoring Junior staff
- Developing cost control mechanisms
- Booking daily transactions in the system
- Prepare reconciliations
- Obtain customer feedback on customer satisfaction and take corrective action where necessary
- Customer relationship management
- Ensure that customer car handover is done in accordance with the company policies and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and Company policies
