Post: Senior Assistant Human Resource Management Officer (Grade J)
Salary: Within the Grade J salary scale segment
Location: DHRMD
Qualifications:
Applicants should be serving Assistant Human Resource Management Officers (Grade K) and Bursars (Grade K) with a minimum of four (4) years experience in those post.
Duties
(a) Interpreting and application of Malawi Public Service Commission Regulations(MPSCR) and Public Service Act, Treasury instructions and other instructions as may be issued from time to time;
(b) Conducting recruitment and selection of staff;
(c) Carrying out office superintendent functions;
(d) Conducting on the job training of staff subordinates;
(e) Maintaining up to date inventory of stores and equipment; and,
(f) Supervising subordinate staff.
Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required
during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that
they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation
in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
