Security Services Officer
Reporting to the Head of Risk the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Bank’s premises, assets, employees, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the bank premises to deter and detect unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to promptly respond to any security breaches or
incidents. - Ensure all access points are secured and properly managed.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement security measures and protocols to safeguard employees, customers, and assets.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation
strategies. - Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Assist in conducting security audits and assessments to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Provide security training and foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance among staff
members. - Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of security protocols.
- Conduct investigations in liaison with the Bank’s Fraud Investigator.
- Prepare incident reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct staff lifestyle audit.
Technical Skills/Competencies
- Proficiency in Security Systems.
- Knowledge of Security Protocols and Procedures.

- Keen eye for detail,
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Criminology, Criminal justice, Security Management, Information Security, or any related field.
- Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent in report writing.
- Physical Fitness and Agility
- Police or Military Training is an added advantage.
