Security Services Manager at First Capital Bank

Security Services Manager

Reporting to the Head of Risk the successful candidate will be responsible for implementation and Monitoring of the Bank’s Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the bank premises to deter and detect unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to promptly respond to any security breaches or
  incidents.
• Ensure all access points are secured and properly managed, including doors, windows, and gates.
• Act as the first responder in emergencies such as robberies, fire, suspicious incidents, and other panic situations.
• Implement emergency protocols to safeguard employees, customers, and assets.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation
  strategies.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to implement security measures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, laws, and industry standards.
• Assist in conducting security audits and assessments to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provide security training and guidance to employees to ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance among staff members.
• Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of security protocols.
• Document all security incidents, breaches, and responses accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare incident reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct ad hoc Branch/Agency visits to observe staff behavior and patterns.
• Fire safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Degree in Security Management, Criminology or any related field.
• Police, Military, Security Management Background is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
