Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the multiple vacant positions tenable at PBM Construction Offices in area 43 and area 25, Lilongwe. Deadline 12.11.24

POSITION: SECURITY OFFICER (1)  

REPORTING TO: HRAS Manager/ FD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing safety and security of the Construction sites, Personnel, equipment’s, company premises and its assets.
• Regularly patrol the construction site to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
• Monitor access to the site, Offices ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches..
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to management and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with construction staff, subcontractors, and emergency services as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• MSCE or its equivalent
• Proven 3-4 years’ experience as a Security Officer and in law enforcement field.
• Experience in security equipment and surveillance systems.
• Analytical, planning and investigative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Those with diploma in Security, Managerial studies will have an added advantage.
• Those with motor cycle license are encouraged to apply.
• Must be computer literate, Possess relevant security training and certifications.
