The Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU), an affiliate of the Malawi Assemblies of God was established to provide a high level system of education driven by strong Christian values and standards. The University is registered, recognized and accredited by Malawi Government through National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). MAGU is urgently seeking to fill the following vacant positions:
POSITION: Security Officer
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MSCE. Those with a Diploma in Security tudies will have an added advantage
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
- 5 years in military or police training Retired Police or MDF Officers
- Practicing Christian
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property;
b) Supervising Students’ moral conduct and behaviour
c) Monitoring surveillance equipment;
d) Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
e) Obtains help by sounding alarms.
f) Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
g) Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
