POSITION: SECURITY OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

CREDIT DATA CRB LIMITED is a Malawian Credit Reference Bureau situated in Blantyre. The Bureau aims at sealing the credit information gap. Credit Data CRB Limited now in quest to enhance its team, invites applications from candidates who meet the qualifications and experience stated below to fill the vacant position of SECURITY OFFICER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting to the Managing Director.
• Implementing the bureaus Security and Safety policies
• Planning daily activities within guidelines of the bureaus safety policies
• Working with other organizations including emergency services regarding security and safety issues.
• Investigate and reports hazards, unusual circumstances at the bureau and follow up actions.
• Identifying security and safety equipment for the enhancement of the bureau’s safety and security.
• Drilling personnel on security and safety issues.
• Making recommendations for prevention of security and safety matter
• Liaising with the Police on any matters of security
• Detecting potential losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Monitoring movement of bureaus assets
• Conducting daily security inspection of security and safety equipment.
• Ensure that office doors and windows are closed at close of business.
• Supervising security guards and reception personnel
• Ensuring that all insurance including and not limited to vehicle insurance, computer insurance, staff insurance is up to date.
• Taking charge of evacuation of personnel from the bureau during emergency
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

• Ex-Police preferred.
