VACANCIES
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Climate Change would like to invite applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the post of Seed Collector, Seed Processor & Security Guards as detailed below:
POST: Security Guard
LOCATION: All Department of Forestry Zonal Offices (north, centre, east and south), Viphya Forestry Plantation, Dzalanyama Forest Reserve and Forestry Research Institute of Malawi (Zomba).
REPORTING TO : Office Superintendent/The Assistant Human Resources Management Officer
SALARY: Within the Grade P salary segment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a minimum of Junior Certificate of Education. Those with experience in guard related field are encouraged to apply.
DUTIES
I. Ensuring that all windows, doors etc are properly closed and locked after working hoursand during weekends.
ii. Ensuring that overlaying structures e.g ladders are not hanging against buildings.
iii. Ensuring that premises are patrolled both in and outside regularly.
iv.Ensuring that plant vehicles and farm inputs are properly secured.
