Located at Biwi, in the capital city, Lilongwe, the school has been in operational existence for at least twenty years. The school has now opened Secondary School which is going to start on 16^th September, 2024. The school is therefore inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions that have arisen at the school as follows:

 

SECONDARY TEACHERS

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Preparing schemes and records of work and lesson plans as guided by the Secondary School Curriculum and the relevant teachers and learner’s books and submitting them on time.
• Organizing relevant teaching learning materials or resources for effective learning
• Teaching/ facilitating learning in all subjects of Secondary Curriculum
• Assessing learning progress through class exercises, tests and examinations
• Preparing assessment records and school reports to be submitted to the Principal and learners’ parents/guardians or management/administration.
• Conducting all teaching/learning activities in collaboration with other fellow teachers, school management/administration and parents and guardians
• Keeping abreast with changes and development in the structure of the curriculum and any relevant policies
• Organizing and taking part in other school events, outings and activities some of which may take place during weekends or in the evenings
• Creating and maintaining a disciplined class of learners for a favorable and optimum learning environment.
• Running extra curricula activities of the school
• Ensuring that all learners are clean and smart in their school and sports uniforms
• Preparing and submitting reports on time.
• Typing of examinations for individual classes.

 

Qualification and experience

• The eligible applicants should have Diploma in Education from a reputable institution. Those with Degree will have an added advantage.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Be a registered member of TCM.
• Minimum age range between 30 to 50 years
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills.
• Willingness to work during odd hours is essential.
