Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers to fill the following posts tenable at Marist Secondary School in Dedza:

2. Physics/Chemistry
3. Mathematics/Computer Studies
4. Chichewa/English
5. French/English
6. Geography/History

Personal Attributes

Those interested must demonstrate a high level of integrity, decorum, emotional maturity and creativity.

They must be team builders and willing to work in a multitasking environment. They must be practicing Christians and respectful of Catholic Doctrines and Ethos.

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

1. Identify and prepare appropriate learning and teaching materials
2. Devise learner-centred methods and resources of teaching and assessing students
3. Create and maintain a conducive, child-friendly teaching and learning environment
4. Prepare, mark tests and maintain all records
5. Attend to all school activities as may be required

Qualifications and Experience

All interested individuals must possess a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in education from an accredited institution. They must be computer literate. They must have at least 5 years of teaching in a reputable institution. Retired teachers are encouraged to apply too.
