We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Scrum Master to join our team and help us streamline our agile processes and deliver high-quality products to our clients.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who will be responsible for managing the scrum process and leading our development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach and mentor team members to ensure effective implementation of scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a servant leader and coach for agile teams, facilitating all scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).Guide and support teams in the effective implementation of agile/scrum principles and practices.Collaborate with product owners to ensure a well-defined product backlog and assist in prioritizing work to maximize value delivery.Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and escalate issues as necessary.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging experimentation, feedback, and learning.Ensure that the team adheres to agile/scrum best practices, standards, and guidelines.Track and report on key agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) to provide transparency and insights into the team’s performance.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all team members, stakeholders, and external partners.Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and development within the agile framework.Ensure that the team’s work is aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an agile development environment, preferably within the software development industry.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle ambiguity.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications such as Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM II/III).
- Experience with scaling agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Background in software development or technical roles.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
