Core Objective: Assist the Sales Manager in ensuring smooth sales operation and sales growth along with delivery of quantitative and qualitative results by developing good relationship with customers. Monitor the sales team as per Sales Plan ensuring coverage, availability, visibility & market hygiene and meeting the specified KPIs.
Responsibilities:
– Daily monitors sales and productivity of the DSRs against the defined goals and KPIs.
– Daily monitors working of DSRs and/or Deliverymen to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of stocks and receipt of payments as per SOPs.
– Provides operational assistance, support and guidance to DSRs to help them achieve the KPIs.
– Develops customer Clusters to increase market presence and visibility in the assigned area.
– Market Visits
– Ensure and monitor proper and full usage of HHTs and EFDs.
– Maintain and establish good and professional relationship with customers.
– Collaborate and coordinate with all internal team members/departments and external customer wherever necessary.
– Ensure cash handling and banking as per company SOP.
Requirements:
· Fluent in English
· Diploma/ degree holder in business or related field
· 3–5-year experience of direct sales in FMCG / Commodities sector in Malawi
· Arithmetic and analytical skills
· Strong persuasion and convincing abilities
· Honest, dedicated and service oriented
· Well versed and presentable
· Good teamwork abilities
· Physically fit to move around in the market in all seasons
