Government and Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise. Malawi Airlines is the national flag carrier that operates B737-700 and Q400 Aircrafts having direct flights to regional cities of Johannesburg; Lusaka; Harare and Dar es Salaam; besides daily domestic flights between Lilongwe and Blantyre. SALES AND TICKETING AGENT (BLANTYRE)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the position of Sales and Ticketing
Agent based in Blantyre (Chibisa Office). The position holder will be reporting to the Traffic and Sales
Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handling ticket sales reservation – issuing and reissuing.
- Handling EMDs and other travel documents as per aviation standards.
- Providing fare quotations of itineraries, travel information and flight information.
- Preparation of sales reports.
- Handling of sales refunds.
- Attending to customer queries.
- Adherence to the safety and security standards of Malawi Airlines.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Diploma in Travel and Tourism (IATA) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- MSCE
- At least 2 years’ experience in aviation industry and those with ticketing know how will have
added advantage. - High level proven integrity.
