Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the post of Sales and Marketing Executive at Crossroads Hotel in Blantyre. The position is extremely challenging and offer excellent career development opportunities for successful candidate:

Applicants must possess the following:

1. To possess a Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing
2. Must demonstrate managerial and good communication skills.
3. Ability to work under pressure
4. At least 2 years work experience in a similar job
5. Possession of a Driver’s License is an added advantage

The successful applicants will be responsible for:

1. Responsible for revenue production for the hotel, and meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for accommodation and food & beverage departments.
2. Developing, implementing and promote the Hotels Brand standards to achieve increased hotel revenue. The job requires a “hands-on” approach, actively involved on a daily basis in securing, qualifying and following up on leads to book specific business.
3. Focusing in sales and marketing and the development of the sales team and should spend most of his/her times selling the “product” – the hotel
4. Supporting guest service as the hotel’s driving philosophy.
5. Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to guests’ needs.
6. Actively sells to in-house guests (greeting tours, talking with guests at continental breakfast to surface additional leads, etc.).
7. Should be able to Manage Hotel’s social media pages.
